Philadelphia School was conceived in early 1970 by a group of dedicated Christians to propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ in the community through Christian education. It started as a Nursery School in 1973. For more than forty years, the school has grown from being a nursery school to a school offering complete Basic Education Program (K to 12).

The school and its various curricula are registered and recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) and duly accredited with Level III by the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities-Accrediting Agency. Moreover, the school is also an active member of the Association of Christian Schools International (USA).

Philadelphia School is committed to improve its quality of education, through employing modern teaching method to meet the challenges and learning milieu of the 21st century. Philadelphia School is collaborating with Confucius Institute at Ateneo de Manila University to elevate the Chinese subject into a conversational approach that is more convenient in comprehending Chinese textbooks. Further, we have added Robotics classes in the Pre-School to Senior High School to enrich their technological advancement. Likewise, classroom teaching will focus more on Student-centered Activities guided by the teachers with the prescribed textbooks to allow students more room to improve or enhance their learning skills.

The School is persistent to develop an efficient faculty and staff through refreshing and widening their concept of knowledge as well as enhancing their professional skills using the latest technology and trends in teaching. Teachers undergo training and they are given the opportunity to attend seminar, lecture and educational events among others.

Philadelphia School has four (4) buildings – Preschool, Elementary, High School and the Sports Center. In addition, the School has an auditorium which is located at the top floor of high school building. Sports Center has a multi-purpose hall and gym for badminton, volleyball and basketball court.

The classroom facilities in three conducive and well-maintained buildings are equipped with air conditioning units, LCD projectors with Pull-Down Projector Screen, glass board, LED lighting system and sound system. Computer Laboratories for Grade School and High School are upgraded as well as the School Library. There are State of the Art classrooms and a modern indoor playground for the Pre-School and Grades 1 to 3, where motor skill devices and other play tools are available. In addition, the Pre-School department is offering pupils a Montessori-inspired afternoon class to aid self-help and social development of pupils.

The School Administration and Faculty is headed by the President, the Principal, who is supported by the Supervisors of Pre-School, Grade School, High School and Chinese Departments, Discipline Coordinator, School Counselor, Subject Heads, Class Advisers and Subject Teachers.

Being aware of the importance of the role of Basic Education in the early formation of the character and behavior of our students. The school has employed the following: Guidance Counselor provides proper counseling for students in need; the Discipline Officer that provides necessary action to instill good moral and conduct; Campus Ministry Coordinator helps the students with their spiritual growth and knowledge of the Lord, Jesus Christ; and the Sports Coordinator helps them reach their full potential in the sports field they excel in.

Indeed, Philadelphia School is proud that most of the alumni are successful businessmen and professional in their respective field of industry or profession as well as the academic awards and topnotchers in different national board examinations in their respective field of studies.
